The SP5K was developed by Heckler & Koch as a semiautomatic, civilian sporting pistol that matches the look and feel of the legendary MP5 submachine gun. The K designation is from the German word for short kurz; thus the K models shorter barrel and receiver.
The SP5 features a Navy barrel with threaded tri-lug adaptor; paddle magazine release; fluted chamber; roller-delayed blowback operating system and an elastic "bungee" sling. Includes two magazines.
