The Apex Competition Firing Pin kit consists of the firing pin (17-4 heat-treated stainless steel) and a reduced power firing pin return spring. Intended for competition use only. This was designed specifically to reduce the probability of light hits for High-Performance trigger action work- specifically handloads using Federal primers seated .008"-.010" in depth.
